Trials and training for the selection of this years U18 squad are taking place in Flancare Park tomorrow evening, Thursday the 19th at 7p.m..

might i ask how much scouting you do into the Gavan and Letrim areas looking for players because there are a few fantastic prospects playing as far away as mullingar because they were never approached by the town, having trial is one thing but is there people actively looking for players?

this isn't a criticism just an honest question because theres a few lads knocking about that have played for Ireland underage and never been approached by the town

No, there are no 'scouts' working for the Town, not in an official capasity anyway.

Recommendations can come from anyone with the clubs best interest in mind. For example, if say you knew players who were good enough to play and you as a Town fan were to ask said players if they would be interested in playing for the club then that would be great..
