Bad news for Roberts.
Arsenal under-18′s preparations for the re-scheduled FA Youth Cup tie against Darlington at Underhill have taken a double blow in the striking department, with Benik Afobe poised to extend his loan spell at Huddersfield Town and Irish youth international Phil Roberts ruled out for two months with a broken foot suffered in training.
Paddy Madden supposedly going back to Burnley for a second trial in January.
Robert Cullen on trial at VVV Venlo, Dutch Eredivisie side. He has a Japanese mother, Northern Irish father.

Some transfer rumours - Keane to Birmingham, Joe Murphy to Burnley.
Stephen O' Halloran on the bench for Coventry today. Great to see as he has been very unluky with injuries the past couple of years.
Thanks Zack. Great news. Hopefully he can now get some games under his belt.
Today's Express links Shane Long with West Ham. Not too sure about this rumour.
I don't think there's any side at the bottom of the table that's guaranteed relegation just yet.
Unbeaten in three - Europe beckons.....
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?
"No, I drink to help me mind my own business....can I get you one? (c) Ronnie Drew
In relation to Boothroyd, John Joe O' Toole is due back from injury soon. I predict that if O' Toole plays well for the rest of the season, Boothroyd will make a bid for his favourite player.
