That is a bloody fantastic result. Well done lads.
Agreed said it on the Craig Walsh thread below they'd won their last four at home I think. Should be a good confidence boost, our away record hasn't been good.

Yep, we've been poor away from home to say the least. For some reason I had a good feeling about this one beforehand, fancied us to put in a performance. 2 very winnable home matches to come now so hopefully we can kick on a bit and get up to a position in the table where I feel this squad of players are more than capable of getting to.
Salthill and Harps isn't it?. Our home record has been decent. Agree with you that the squad we have should be mid table and looking up. It's about getting consistency and to be fair to TC if the players didn't want to play for him they wouldn't bounce back from the bad performances. He's been talking about building a squad and I'd let him at it we need some stability on the field and he's doing a decent enough job on pretty limited resources.

Salthill we should win but you know how we always make things difficult and Haps are in good form and will be out for revenge after the first game in Flancare this season so id be happy with 4 point's from the next two a couple of goals and a clean sheet or two

from talking to the section o lads at the game last night we were impressive. At long last we have caught Finn Harps and now all of a sudden Youths are only two points ahead of us now ! its all upwards and onwards for us..
Is that Wexford youths home jersey that was worn last night? I always thought black was their first choice first team kit?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
