Hard luck bohs. Welsh teams have always been underrated....
What has happened to Conor Powell this season?
He was taken off and replaced by the Jasist at half time last night and he had a shocker against us at the weekend as well.
He was one of the best full backs in the league for the last couple of seasons but seems to have gone backwards this term.
Hard luck bohs. Welsh teams have always been underrated....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
Suppose the writing was on the wall to an extent, werent TNS unlucky to be beaten in the first leg as it was?

It doesn’t say much apart from Bohs got beat 3-0 away from home in a cup competition. Teams lose games. Drogheda have beaten Pats twice this season but we’re 22 points ahead of them in the league. No question at all we’re a better side despite the two losses. Similarly Pats knocked out a Russian side last year. In no way did this mean that the LOI was better than the Russian league. It just meant that over two legs we beat them. No more, no less.
I absolutely agree that some people here vastly overestimate how good the league is, but one or two results don’t change much. UEFA ranks our league at 29th, and way above the Welsh league. These rankings are built up over five years and give a decent indication. Last night didn’t

there is no good explaination for bohs to get hammered 4-0 whatever way you look at it. were mid season, play in a stronger league and even though they are full time aswell bohs would have the better squad. no excuses, our teams shouldnt be getting beaten like this.
Was up at the first game and up to hour mark it was pretty much even, after the goal and especially in the last 10 minutes Bohs opened them up quiet easily.
One thing that I noticed about the first game, and the commentators said it last night, Bohs will try 3 or 4 passes and if it doesnt get them anywhere it will go back to the defence who hoof it, absolutely no patience. TNS had two big centre halves, good in the air, shizer when attacked at speed. It sounded like Bohs played into their hands last night, and did so in the first leg as well i thought.
TNS appear to do the best with what they have got, they are very disciplined and they have a bit of speed going forward. They are very limited though and I expect them to be hammered by Anderlecht.
As a league of Ireland supporter for near 40 years I was sickened to hear what happened Bohs last night. It is embarrasing for the leagure but we need to move on now. I support any LOI club playing in Europe and will continue to do so no matter who they are. At a local level there is plenty of rivarly between the clubs as there should be and this adds to the excitement of the league, but at European level we should be supporting each other.
But below is a post received on Oriel web from some Bohs supporter called Frank which I have to say I was annoyed at. So to you Frank I am delighted for you, to the rest of the Bohs supporters lift your heads up now and move on and Good luck in the future

Im a bohs fan and if theres any dfc players our officals on this fourm i would like to thank you for embarsing irish football we have come a long way in europe over recent years and results like thoses i really thought were a thing of the past. Every irish team in the past number s given it there all apart from a fc haka match. Pats last year. Bohs the last number of years, cork derry, even sligo last year give it ago fingal last night as well played a much better team in my view than levski. If we beat tns which we should we move on to play anderlect and if god forbid rovers get threw they play juventus and you wont see any them teams much bigger teams win6-0 even over the two legs. So please try your best to stay clear of europe this will be my only post on this page. And i also forgot about drogheda and shels playing there hearts out for themselves over and out
Sums up the retarded nature of some fans!
What an absolute cretin.

Rumours at the start of the season were that he had a major bust up with Fenlon in the dressing room, but kept his place in the squad regardless. On the SRFC Ultras forum the mysterious whisteblower who seems to pop up once a year with copies of Bohs accounts (so obviously has legitimate sources) is also talking about a bust-up before the TNS game over unpaid bonuses, which I'd be inclined to believe considering just how awful/uninterested Bohs apparently were.
I undersntad the arguement was also over bonuses for the Anderlecht game.
Which shows exactly where Bohs players' heads are

Its the damage that this result will do to the co-efficient is where the real pain lies, not to mention undoing the good PR that the likes of Pats generated with their results in recent years. We can only hope that Rovers pull it off and get a glamour tie against Juve which would be great exposure nationally for the league.
Finally, I cant understand why anyone doesnt support the LOI teams in Europe, they are representing our league and our country and its in our interests for them to do well. For European nights, domestic grievances should be set aside.

Incidentally, with regard to the coefficient... if Bohs had lost 2-1 over there and progressed on away goals. then lost home and away to Anderlecht (plus AN Other) it would have had the same effect on the coefficient as last night's result. The only difference would be that Bohs would rake it in.
Bohs accounts are widely and openly available (ask Dodge). The story about the "bust up" over bonuses was in the Herald - some "mysterious whistleblower" and some "legitimate sources"this the same "mysterious whistleblower" that had Fenlon gone to Dundee ? Bohs bankrupt ? Relegated? in breach of salary protocol ? etc etc etc pleeeease.
thanks boneym. It really, really hurts but i cant begin to imagine what it was like for the lads who were there. I knew TNS would be no pushover but i didnt see this happening, i honestly thought it would be 1-1 over there. Just sickened.
Funnily enough, im glad that Frank got his words shoved down his mouth. No team is in a position to gloat over any other teams euro results - we've all been there before and we will be again.
Players should be ashamed of themselves. I hope they are f*cked out of the club as soon as they get back. Absolutely disgraceful. Nutsy needs to shoulder quite a lot of the blame here too if im being honest.
Im beginning to look on the possible "positives" of this. The next few years are going to hurt but it gives us a chance to get our act together.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
