I hope a Munster team makes it to the Premier Division. One Ulster and one Munster would be good all round.

Excellently..except for taking four points off us...grumble..

Any reason why Shels are missing off that list?

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Suddenly, things get a whole lot more interesting. Over to you Stephen Kenny and team, time to waken up and regain top spot

Fair play to the Mons, a great time to hit the top.

    Their run-in is:

    away to Salthill
    home to Waterford
    away to Cork
    home to Limerick
    away to Mervue
    home to Derry

Some tricky fixtures there with Derry, Waterford and Limerick having something to play for (and maybe even Cork, though if Cork have something to play for at that stage, it probably means Limerick don't).

Coz they are in the First Division and only picked Premier teams to highlight the point. Sorry bout that! :-p

Bray are the most likeliest Premier Division side at the moment to be involved in the Promotion/Relegation play-off with a Division One club.

I don't know, I could easily see them winning the premier division round of the play-offs. Based on recent form (before tonight!), I would have had them as favourites against us or Dundalk.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Bit of a gap opened up there tonight between us and UCD and Galway. We have Galway at home and have to play Bray and UCD away!

Ssssh with your squabbling....its all about us being top of the table at a crucial point in the season, this doesnt usually happen and I still think I am dreaming so please reassure me!!

I know you have all seen seasons when your team is riding high but this is my first time to really and truely witness the Mons at the top so you all know how I am feeling. All those years of travelling to Cobh to be beaten and taking a long bus ride home, going to Athlone and being beaten and crying on the way home, being knocked out of the cups by Skerries, Wayside, Rockmount et al, always being laughed at for lack of ambition and having to put up with snide remarks about how we "dont belong" in football, those heartbreaking moments for season after season after season are ultimately worth it for this one glorious moment in our history when we sit top of the first division, in the quarter finals of the FAI Ford Cup and in the FINALS of the EA Sports Cup. No matter what happens from Saturday on, this has been the season where I have seen MY team fulfil the promises of winning games, going places and having the chance to make history.

No one can take away the memories of the season so far and my boys will hopefully go on and create even better ones to add to this years collection.

I have always been proud to be a Mon but now others look at me and understand why. C'mon the Mons!

Well we have: salthill away, waterford home, cork away, limerick home, mervue away and derry home. Not sure bout them but they do have the easier run in.
