Not sure where the "hoof" merhcants label comes from, I'd say its slightly unfair, they do play good football and Behan's qualities lay in his touch, ability to hold the ball up and bring others into the game rather than flicking the ball on. Agree that there are no medals handed out after 5 games, leagues are not won before Christmas but can certainly be lost. Also there are a few quick lads on that side, and you don't have to be lightning quick to read the game, awareness on the pitch and seeing things will usually get an older, experienced player into position before them young whiper snappers. All in all though its been a good start to the season and long may it continue, makes for a fascinating Sunday afternoon, seeing the results.
On a separate issue, great to see Rathkeale beat Fermoy and progress there, Carrick Utd next, any predictions?
Oscar Traynor tomorrow evening, be interesting to see who turns up, have heard there are a few players who won't be there.
