Tierney top player but he will not guarantee an fai for pike. he plays up front or can operate on the wing. cause of his age limerick fc might be entitled to some compensation but 9000 thats crazy!!!!
Seriously they actually have paid 9,000 to get him released and to be honest it doesnt surprise me 1 bit that Pike could get that sort of money as its a well known fact where they get there money from,i would totally agree with ya it is crazy money but there going all out to emulate Fairviews achievements i honestly hope they dont succeed.

Avenue never six goals worse than St.Michaels - that was a freak result. Two stupid goals conceded in the first quarter demoralised Avenue. Doubt that will happen again. Expect a much closer game on Sunday in what is a banana skin tie for the Tipperary Town side.

Well nononsense looks like you were spot on with your assessment of Avenue. Heard that they were unlucky to loose it. Had probably the better chance in the first half. Could have went either way.

When did dundrum start up? would this be back to back promotions if they go up again?

Lookin at the premier league, its mad how tight it is apart from top 2..all the team bar the top two have only won 3or4 games. Clonmel celtic have been drawn so many games, if they had to turn some of them into wins, they could be in with a fighting chance of league.
Where as villa, cashel and wilderness have lost plenty.

Lookin at the 1st division, borris and st nicholas won again the weekend. These still havent met in the league so who ever takes points when they play should decide the league. If Ballingarry went on a run, they could grab second place. They have borris the weekend which is a must win.

Division 2 looks like the best league, any of the top 4 can win it. Very tight. I would be hopin for Glengoole or Killenaule to go up just not too have B teams. Be interestin to see how it unfolds.

lads borris will walk the first division they have only dropped 2 points in the lge and i would be surprised if they even drop 2 more, i saw them play clonmel celtic in the mjc a few weeks back and they should have beaten dem and they had st mich's Ateam at 2all until 5 mins to go before losing 4 2 which is no disgrace. all the other lges are interesting alright. i predict prem, st mich's. 1st div, borris. 2nd div cashel town b. 3rd div, dundrum. 4th div, ballypatrick.

They played an illegal player in two games, one they won, the other they drew. Deducted 4 points.

Richard Ryan, Ian Barnes, Evan Maguire, David McGrath, Barry Ryan (all Clonmel Town), Derek Breen, Paul Tobin, Chris Higgins, James Walsh, Paul Breen, Jimmy Carr, Thomas Fahy, Pat Quinn, Ritchie Ryan (all St. Michael’s), Andrew Cosgrave, Paul Kennedy (both Clonmel Celtic), Alan Leahy (Peake Villa), Seanie O’Hara (Wilderness Rovers)

Any opinions on how that squad will get on this weekend in Cork?

    r ryan
    p tobin j walsh p breen c higgins
    j carr t fahey a cosgrove i barnes
    s o hara paul kennedy

with that starting 11 would get the win up there. cork aul will be strong though, they won it 2 years ago and have big squad this year with regular trainings unlike tsdl who will have to make do with what players probably show up on the day

Maybe St Michaels will just have to play Cork I would play David Mcgrath and Barry Ryan up front and leave the rest the same, Kennedy is struggling last couple of years and i dont think Seanie is even turning up for the Wildies at the moment, may be injured? Did i hear Sunday that Paraic Fogarty has a serious injury??

is that a current squad or is that the squad for the last game? how is emmett johnson of clonmel celtic not in this squad he is bangin in goals for fun and is a classy player. he could replace at least 1 of the centre forwards in that squad that is not even starting with his club regularly and its not a member of his own club. maybe he has been approached and is not available anyone from celtic know anymore?

thats the squad listed on tsdl website for sunday. come match day sunday could be way different as usual every time tsdl play oscar traynor with players pulling out etc. squad is light enough midfield id have comerford , tony scully or john shanahan in it

I think John Shanahan is suspended for this game. Is he the lad who was sent off against Munster Senior League and therefore on one match automatic suspension. I think Balls has selected a very good side above but would prefer McGrath or Ritchie Ryan up front with Barry Ryan. Following the trial on Saturday it puts the TSDL players on show again as Junior international Manager Gerry Smith intends attending the game plus his assistant manager Mick O'Brien who is manager of TSDL.

Also like balls team, one or 2 small changes but it seems farely strong. not sure is thomas fahy better than some others.

Also, i wonder what ban gattuso will get after his antics against spurs when you compare it to some suspensions handed out in tsdl, may be interesting? If it was in tsdl, be a few years.

thomas fahey is the only holding midfielder in the squad all the rest are attacking midfielders so he adds balance to the side, i would go with paul kennedy up front as he is best finisher in tsdl. maybe richie ryan instead of o hara up front other than that team really picks itself.

as regards gattuso s ban football fanatic, if he headbutted or assaulted a referee which was our problem in tsdl, im sure he would get a similar tsdl type ban of say 1 or 2 years, but as it was opposing teams assistant manager id say he may just get anything between 2 and 6 months

Balls have you had the misfortune of seeing Kennedy play in the last 18 months, either he has no interest or has lost whatever it was people felt he had,he has no business being in the panel

to be honest stelling i have not seen much of him this season since he went back to celtic, i knew he went off the boil abit in his last spell with saints but he is a great finisher when on song. maybe he has lost interest could explain what your saying as his attitude was always abit suspect

Saints could'nt drag anything out of him and basically gave up on him,he seems to just go through the motions,i like Richie Ryan from saints he is a big strong lad and seems very game, O Hara has scored goals this season and scored the winner in the last round and Barry Ryan scores double figures every season and Fogarty can play up there as well so its the one area that Tipp are strong in,its the midfield they pick that i will be interested to see
