Was at home yesterday and I have to say coverage on Tipp FM was great. they were live in Galway for the hurling but to be fair, Muiris Walsh was in Cooke Park and they went over to him a number of times for updates. His updates were spot one and to the point. Seems that he is doing more and more for Tipp FM. Cant see him ever going back to Town now
Just hope they keep this type of coverage up for the rest of the season, including next Saturday night as I cant travel to Limerick!!
They have been criticised here ( and rightly so for their poor coverage) but yesterday was great.

ya saints were full value for win was a good competive game. they werent at there best but winning when not firing on all cylinders is sign of a great team. i thought paul tobin and jimmy carr were superb.
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!

Tipp Cup this weekend now lads how do you see it going?
Have to say, been a bit biased now, that Old Bridge are form team at moment and could cause upset at weekend away to Wildies. Bridge have won last 3 out 4 games and all away from home, beat Micahels B on Sunday 2-1. Both Wildies and Bridge will be up for this game as they would both like a shot at Town or Celtic in a Tipp Cup Semi-final.

Congrats to Boris on their promotion also well deserved.

Right off moyglass at your peril, i fancy them to win the weekend and if they get a home draw in semi's, i wouldnt be suprised if they reached the tipp cup final. If there was bettin, i would be on them e/w.
They are a good side in there own patch, no-one likes playin there.
I predict old bridge and clonmel town to win the other 2 ties.

St.Michaels have to beat Cashel away first to make it to semi-finals and that won't be easy. Game fixed for Thursday night 14th. Games coming thick and fast now for Saints and one wonders can they keep it up. Maybe it was just me, but last Sunday I thought, for the first time this season, they looked tired, especially in last half hour. The Oscar Traynor and junior international sessions and games not doing them any favours.

To be fair lads Moyglass will be hot favourites to beat Town B.....Town B have done remarkably well to reach the QF,they did very well to win the 2nd division but they have a very modest team but players who are honest, they dont use any A team players and only got a team together 2weeks before the season with no one willing to take them over they were on the verge of pulling out of the league the day they got a manager

Yeah, I agree with you, anybody going to see Saints over the Season would have passed same comments as that, they looked completely tired especially in the second half, but as you say, games that previous week didnt help, and they have a huge fixture list ahead of them, Sat night Munster Junior Semi, Thurs night next week against Cashel, Crumlin the following Sunday in FAI Senior Cup, Easter Weekend, FAI Semi Final, what I hope doesnt happen is that an important player or any of them! get injured during one of the above games before the FAI Semi Final. Good luck to Saints on Saturday night, hope results comes right for you on the night and all the loyal supporters that have been going to see them this Season turn out, it was great to see lads from other Clubs there last Sunday amongst the big crowd, The Cahir Park Lads are always great to support Saints, Old Bridge team stayed around after playing Saints B Team that morning, and Clonmel Town lads there also on their way back from Galbally Game. Best on field for Saints last Sunday, Paul Breen, Chris Higgins, Ritchie Ryan and Jimmy Carr. Good Luck on Saturday!

i wonder will the tsdl show their support to st michaels in regards to the fixture list and help them out and not have to scandal of having to play 5 games in 9 days which clonmel town had to do in 2009, somehow i think they or should i say HE will

best of luck to michaels anyway, im sure they will be up and ready for the challenge in limerick on friday night

Great 1 - 5 win for Saints in Jackman Park. That should keep the Limerick lads quiet for a while. FAI in the Bag for Pike Rovers looks a long way of the mark on that display.. Treble a real possibility now for Saints.

was it the mjc or the fai saints beat pike tonight, to my knowledge it was the mjc, both teams have to play there respective matches in the fai to progress, there was nothing won in the quater finals of an fai lets be honest now, lets just see how pike repond before everyone starts bashing them on there first real defeat in a long long time,

No one is bashing Pike Rovers 1 bad game doesn't make a bad team, But it just shows any team or it's supporters can get carried away and this defeat might just be the kick Pike need to go on and lift a FAI cup. Saints have answered all the questions so far this season and no team will fancy having to play them in this form.

I see moyglass gave clonmel b a good beatin in tipp cup, im delighted for moyglass, there a decent team who give everything. Unlucky not to get promoted to premier league this year, droppin points early in the league cost them.

and clonmel celtic beat clonmel town in cup aswell....a bad day for clonmel town alround. Great win for celtic though.

Town were a shambles yesterday but still could have won. The club is in meltdown. There needs to be changes both with the manager and the players. Club has fallen asunder. well done to Town's U-11s who are through to FAI semi final

I wouldnt be getin carried away with moyglass win yesterday as Town B had a very depleted side out and were still in the tie with 7mins left only to be caught on the break at 2-1 down i think the result would of been a lot different if they were at full strenght....Dont know whats happening with Town A only the league left to win now they have lost a number of players to the Gaa,but i wouldnt agree that the club is going downhill it aint saying much for the league if Town are supposedly that bad and are still well ahead of the 3rd place team....Well done to the Wilderness also on there 3-2 win over Old Bridge
