Lads, does anyone know if the Balla v AA game will even be played now? or will the LDMC just award a each team a point.

I know most of ye ignore hoops38's comments as he is a general stirrer but i couldn't let this go, just to clarify Aisling's position on this over the last 10 seasons

01/02 (Prem) - 11th position (22 games played)
02/03 (Div 1A) - 3rd (22 games played)
03/04 (Div 1A) - 5th, Myross gave Aisling walkover 8/6/04
04/05 (Div 1A) - Champions (22 games played)
05/06 (Prem) - 7th, Mungret gave Aisling walkover 28/5/06
06/07 (Prem) - 7th, Fairview - 1 point each 31/5/06
07/08 (Prem) - 5th, Aisling gave Balla walkover 26/6/08
08/09 (Prem) - 6th, (22 games played)
09/10 (Prem) - 7th (22 games played)
10/11 (Prem) - 7th Aisling gave Balla walkover 31/5/11

Nice one HuRya, there you are Hoops 38, 220 games played and 2 walkovers given with the last in June (Almost July '08).You should have the facts before you make broad statements like "not a year goes by that aishling dont give a walkover".

Have to agree Xpskid something should be done about it, ldmc should do something just looking at Huyra table above and it doesnt look good on any club.

people in glass houses second ...have teams in other leagues ( clare) Ever given walkovers .. did certain club not give walkover in area fai/munster semi-final and another club wanted to give walkover in final !!! personaly i think clubs should be punished more if they give walkovers.

O I agree teams in clare give walkovers.. But when was last time a team in prem in clare gave a walkover.. The league don't allow it..

Didn't the Clare Oscar Traynor league team itself more or less give the Wexford league a walkover in last years final??

I won't... I don't know what your agenda is.. Everyone knows clare punched above their weight last year and as a clare man I was proud they got to final.. Pity bout the result but that's football... But from a county with only 5 divisions and no players that get paid ( or expenses as some call it ) they probably had no right to be there..or to win it a couple of years ago either ... Imagine if we could afford players :-)

And what makes you think that players would go out there to play football,don't mind the stupid talk with getting paid and expenses and all that,there's a lot of Clare players come into the Limerick league to ply their trade for nothing because it's a way stronger league,end of,there's no one doubting that it was a great achievement to reach final last year,but get a grip yere miles behind Limerick league.

Yes,it was a great achievement to get to the final and well done on that.point taken but come on,the Wexford league is not renowned to be a big powerful league either with probably less teams than Clare league.
