mike bourke is the worst most ignorant referee thats ever blown a whistle..id never gripe a ref without genuine reason, god knows they've a horific task.. but hes just woefull. I always taught, enda tom duggan and john mac were the best.

just on your selection of top 20 you would presume we as a premier team would have at least crossed paths with most of these refs but i as a player can only remember 6 refereeing our games which are mike kiely a few.robbie broe 1.tom duggan a few.enda quaid 1 the boro, mike weldon 1.john mc 1

Weldon at 13, your having a laugh pal, Id have Ollie Hayes in the top 20 before him, and thats saying something.

I'd also have J.McNamara, G Clancy, S Jordan & A Keogh higher than the above.......but then again its just my opinion.

I'd also have T Meagher in the top 20.

Ive always said it that a good referee is one who will take the time to explain his decision to a player (whether we agree with it or not) and I feel these refs are few and far between, but those who do explain their decisions, certainly get more respect from a player, hence my statement above about Weldon, any time you ask him something he threatens to book you and tells you to go away and stop annoying him (or maybe he just says that to me).

    Mungret v Shannon

Heard today that Shannon are missing a load of players and will be lucky to field a team v Mungret, so I'd expect Mungret to win fairly easy..............but I suppose I'll still go to watch it.

its 11 v 11 no matter how many ex loi players there are. they are obviously ex loi for a reason. stop whinging and train as hard as the pike lads and ye might beat them

Well said, any team would be proud to have achieved what they have achieved so far and it makes no difference where the players have come from at the end of the day its as you said 11 v 11, and Good luck to them next sunday and hopefully all junior teams in Limerick will be rooting for them in Cork

LOI, he has been 4th offical and linesman in a lot of games.

Have to disagree about T Meagher Abbeyvale. He stays rooted to the centre circle and stares at the ground most the game. A lot better refs out there. Best we had this season where M.Kiely, J.McNamara and M.O'Halloran.

corbally 2-2 regional. a brace from fergal o connell and we went in 2-1 at half time after a shane o connor goal from regional.regional equalised in injury time after a goal by kieran o connell.disapointing not to have held out for the win that would have put us 100% safe.even though there was over 90mins played we didnt close it out to the final whistle.
