Pike getting closer to the league title very good display, any other matches on tonight.
corbally far from safe.even janesboro arent safe yet mathematically.both teams are in a better position than others but looking at wembley last season its very clear what happens if you dont win a game in your last 4-5 matches.a massive game for us against ballananty on sunday morning.
anyone got a report on the pike game?what was the score?who scored?what type of a game was it?

you said in post above good display from pike and in this one balla were in with great chance that you had to go away at half time ,bit puzzled
Regional Utd 0 Kilmallock Utd 0... And I heard Aisling beat Mungret with a late winner not sure tho..Think it finished 2-1...!!!

Mungret are in serious trouble now. GReat result for kilmallock last night.
could still see mungret pickin up 6 if not more points in their last three games, all depends on how the fixtures pan out, league title could be potentially decided by the time they play view, and im sure they'd fancy themselves against shannon and an annualy very overated Kilmallock team
balla 1-1 corbally.corbally took the lead after 30mins thru ben savage after a missed penalty by balla on 25mins.corbally held the lead until 85th min when balla equalised from a header off a david dunphy cross.we are disapointed not to have held out for the win but it was no more than balla deserved in a game in which they dominated for long periods especially the last 30mins in which they threw everything at corbally and only for some excellent goalkeeping from walsh in the corbally goal and some last ditch defending it could easily have been 4 for balla in the second half.all in all balla deserved the win but after playing poorly for long periods we will take the draw.we have played much better this season and got nothing. it was very clear from todays game that corbally hadnt had a game in 4 weeks and balla looked alot sharper.
balla played afew very promising younglads today who will really give them a boost into next season. afew big games still left in the run in.
overated why do you say that.held our own with a group of young local lads who are still learning for the last 2 years and hopefully another year.name one other premier team that have 15 local lads and 1 not local,2 over 30,2 over 23 and the rest 17 to 21 in there squad and battle away every year.how dare you come on here slating us.we got to quarter final of fai last year and gave pike a run for 87 mins in the last 32 this year and you say overated.one last thing how come most premier teams are already tapping up some of our players.last year 7 were approached.not bad for an average team.3 players called up to oscar traynor team this year and 2 called to england on more than one occasion for trials.not bad for an overated team.
they may not win anything but for them to hold there own in premier and i think there b team won there league is a great achievment, also like wenger they keep there finances in check and don't splash out on mercenaries. some thing other premiershipteams could learn a thing or 2 about
