Yellow Cards & Bans (at this stage of the season)?
Lads, Can anyone confirm what the situation is regarding a player when he reaches 5 yellow cards?
I know that there was a 1 game ban dished out when you got 5 yellows to a certain point during the season, but surley at this late stage of the season they shouldnt count.......
Even in professional football the yellow card count (of 5 yellow's) stops at the end of March and is increased to 10 yellow's but with a 2 game ban. (so for instance if your on 4 yellow's and dont get a 5th yellow until after 31st March, you dont get banned and will only receive a ban when you hit 10 yellow's)
Surely it's only a matter of time before a player reaches 5 yellow's in a full season and therefore resulting in a ban at what could be, one of the most important times of the season..
If that is the case then, there must be a very high rate of 1 game bans around at this time of year, with some clubs playing 2 games a week and especially the way certain refs in this town hand out yellow cards.............

your not too bad with predictions.
here is a reason why pike keep falling short in big cups, because most of the decent players are signed to 2 teams,they dont have enough competative matches, a bit like scottish lge when they go to europe. just a thought so dont jump down my throat

carew slow out of the blocks this morning without four first team regulars we got a pen on 25mins star had a chance to level missed it. carew added a second on 35mins with a screamer from colm hanly 25yrs top corner. 2nd half carew should of added at least 4 more goals with some poor finishing in front of goal nearly paid for it when star missed a good chance on 80mins. another clean sheet thats five in a row in the league overall carew had star pinned in there owe halfs for long spells

every team in the league have a game next weekend except for carew and corbally?carew and corbally have to play each other still.why arent they playing this game with every other game next saturday evening? fixtures in this league are a farce. half the teams in the league play 3 games in 7 days afew weeks back and then dont have a game for 3 full weeks.where is the logic in that?i heard recently star hadnt played a league game in a month up to 2 weeks ago yet they have played more games than anyone since?totally ridiculous to be piling up games one week and saving then giving teams weeks on end off.
id say mungret will be moving up a place as they will win objection against the boro

i agree tedd carew had 5 games in 13 days when there was no need for it we could of played this weekend and one in midweek crazy just a bit of common sence is needed.
