1, What makes you say this will be Bobs last season in LOI?
2. I wouldnt imagine Bob and Declan are best buddies, and if Bob was to sign for any junior club in town, I'd probably say Fairview, seeing as he played Junor footy with Chucka and TB, but then again stranger things have happened.

The scores in the matches were bordering on the ridicoulus and no mangager who is trying to sign players in the lower leagues wants to be playing pike premier team with a couple of league of ireland players as guests.
Maybe next year they will strenghten it with a few premier teams because it look like 2 of the clubs that played werent too happy with the set up.
Or else they could call it give Pike a trophy tournament and invite Pike B and their over 40s team aswell. My point is nobody learned anything from it and to see some of the pike players faces in the final you could see it was pointless only a stroll in the park.

Why don't they set up a tournament with 4 or 5 teams from the Desmond League and 4 or five from the Limerick league they seem to play each other in friendlies all the time wouldn't it be good to have a tournament?

Lads, The tornament is the Paddy O'Halloran Memorial Tournament which have been played for unfortuately 4 times... The four teams that are invited by the O'Halloran Family are 4 teams that Paddy played for in his short time with us... It has been an honour for the Boro to hold the matches and the boro will always be available for Paddys tournament... The only regret is that it is even held at all...A very young man taken when he had his whole life ahead of him......

I remember the mungret tournament a long time ago...one great preseason tournament... I think balla had something going in the early 80's with 4 top teams playing over a weekend in Knocklasheen....

bit of a strange one tho.maloney has had 2 good seasons at pike.im totally surprised to hear of that move.fair play to balla.whoever got him to sign deserves alot of credit as i thought he would stay at pike to try win an fai.

the patsy collopy tournament was a good tournament,think its finished now though!!!!nothing like a good owl preseason tournament.

Balla need alot more than him, if they are going to do anything this year. Alot of new blood is needed. Don't know if this is true or not yet. Lads could have been takin the **** too

its true lads just talking to a balla man he signed last night great signing for balla big loss for pike pa always got very important goals for pike massive loss.
alan barry is not playing ball this season wayne colbert and davey ryan doubts over them aswel. barry and molonely both gone what will pike do now?

Pike were winning leagues and munster juniors before they signed i'm sure they will be fine.
