    Shelbourne Fans v Shelbourne Legends

    Shelbourne Fans v Shelbourne Legends - Tolka Park, Drumcondra - Sunday, July 11th – KO 3.30pm

    This coming Sunday sees the Shelbourne Fans (who have paid between €100 and €200 each for the honour) play the Shelbourne Legends. The Fans team will be managed by Dermot Keely and Tony Sheridan, while the Legends team will be managed by Pat Byrne and Damien Richardson.

    The Legends squad will include Paul Doolin, Pat Fenlon, Padraig Dully, Rod DeKhors, Alan Murphy, Paul McDermott, Alan Gough, Kevin Brady, Bobby Brown, Gary Howlett, Stephen Geoghegan, Declan Geoghegan, Mick Neville, Jim Crawford, Mick Byrne, Greg Costello and Liam Kelly.

    More recent departures from Tolka Park, Tony McCarthy, Kevin Doherty and Mark Rutherford will play alongside the Fans

    The game will be followed by a function in Tolka Park at which food will be served, the World Cup Final will be shown on the Big Screen and that in turn will be followed by Music

    Admission to the game will cost €10 for Adults and €5 for Children and OAPs. Admission to the function will cost €10. Combined tickets, if bought in advance, will cost €15.

    Interesting to see Fenlon playing.

    Hope it goes well for ye. Combining it with the World Cup Final seems a good idea.

    We've done this 2 years in a row at Harps. Got whipped 3-1 last year and 5-2 only a few weeks ago.
    Great craic, definitely recommended to all clubs, even if only for a morale booster.

    Who is organising it? The club or a fans group?
    The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
