Mossie Linnane Cup Final at the Cross is cancelled tonight.
Walked both Castleview pitches this evening, very soft. Tomorrows games dodgy I'd say. Pitches still seem to be thawing out.

Heard from one of the Kanturk guys that the Street keeper and one of his own players went at it hammer and tongs going of the pitch!! Bad day at the office and not good for these new signings to see.
killer b just seen grattans resuslt with newmarket was that yer usual team or is it after suffering cause of all the goings on?
Killer, have your premier team taking players?
So which teams have benefitted from Grattan's situation ?
Have any of the players gone to Prem A ?
As expected, this was never gonna be as easy as some others may have thought. Passage played some lovely football on a tough pitch underfoot. We took the lead midway through the first half, but didnt add to it until the final 10 minutes. 25 goals between the 3 strikers now. Going well. Passage had 2 great chances to equalise, but the woodwork came to our rescue. Pitch was playable at 2pm..............not sure it was at 4pm.
Even our line was watching the excitement between Blarney Street and Kanturk. Screams and hollers as the goals went in. Street very disapointed after, but before the game, I had remarked to our own team that the pitches and conditions did look like "Cup Upset" pitches.
FAI Umbro Junior Cup 4th Round:
Knockavilla Celtic 2 Springfield A 3 (AET). - match played in Springfield pitch on Sunday morning after Knockavilla Pitch deemed unplayable on Saturday!
Springfield claim the scalp of another Premier team in cup competitions.
Game of 3phases really,
First Half, Springfield 2up within in first 15mins and really should have bagged at least another 2or3 before half time.
Second Half, Knockavilla score immediately from kick off and den scramble an equaliser with literally last kick of the game after goalmouth scramble.
Extra Time, Springfield battled and grinded out deserved winner.
Springfield now away to Tolka Rovers!?!(Dublin) in next round - tough game expected.
Onto next week and home to Blarney St Ath in Munster Jnr Cup(2nd Round) - another Premier team, perhaps another Premier scalp!
(Question: -Blarney players sent off last week - do they serve one match automatic ban?, also players signed from Grattan - are they cup tied for this comp?)
Offside I'm open to correction here but I'm fairly sure the players signed from Grattan are cup tied. The players sent off are suspended for the next match seen as Blarney Street lost. If they won the players would be suspended for the next FAI game.
