Can't find this posted anywhere else on the site and spotted this on the cork schoolboys league. make sure to support this. cheap magazine.

    Hi all,

I'm hoping to launch a new 32 page monthly local football magazine on September 1.

Back of the Net will provide extensive coverage of all the latest news in the Munster Senior League, Athletic Union League, Cork Schoolboy's League and the Cork Youth League.

Interviews, club details, club profiles, columnists, fans forum, competitions and quizzes will all be featured in the magazine, and an up to date website will also be an added attraction.

The success of the magazine will be dependant on the support it gets from the clubs so I would ask you all to support this exciting new project which will raise the profile of local football in Cork

The magazine is priced at just €2 and you can reserve your copy by contacting your local football club, or alternatively, you can contact the editor, Paul Hogan on 087 2201145.

    Thank you.

Padjoe, we all received correspondence in the post about the magazine. I hope it works.

You will have to stop posting, though, you are embarrasing the rest of us with the quality of your posts!! That yellow card thing is simple and brilliant - like most good ideas.

We played Richmond in a friendly on Saturday in their new place in Wilton. Lovely set-up & lovely pitch. Well done to them.

Horse & Olachico played for a bit...............it was like Pele & Maradona on the same pitch - the huge crowd of 6 couldnt believe what they were witnessing!!!

Lets just say - my jersey wasnt too tight!!!

Did you know that playing guys in friendlies who are not signed for you (by signed I mean form handed in) may not be covered by insurance?

And on Sunday the supposedly second best ref in the Premiership blocking Liverpool clearances....and only game them frees when they had an advantage!!!!..............Betcha Wenger didnt see it!

Best of luck to yourself and all at Macroom Holden ..but not on Saturday afternoon as we take on your "B" team in A.U.L. 2A.
Looking forward to the start of the season, hopefully the hard work during pre-season will pay dividends.

I guess from Parks point of view they probably get caught to travel from Mitchelstown midweek a lot of times, so if they have to do it, its probably fair that they get home games also midweek.

Now obviosuly, if they are getting the free game on a weekend that just makes no sense.

Hey, "Torres" Holden - just reading the Echo.....................love the "is committed to the club" bit - were Chelseas and Man City over in Macroom too!!!!

What did the town council do for ye?

See the pics on the net from the Awards last night....................hooligans the lot of them!!!! Looked like a great night.

Pacman, played Grattan last night in a good kickabout for both sides. They won 3-2. Our friendly fear beag sends his love to all and continues to watch over us!!! He laughed at the "demise of Grattan" stories I had for him. As always they will be there or thereabouts.

No it was played up in Castleview this morning. Not sure why as Leeside were down as the home team.

Good win today for Blarney Street. I wonder if they have improved.

Good win for Park, but I fear Glenthorn might be in trouble.
