    Honestly?.....

We are really wondering if he is playing WITH us, because as soon as he gets the ball he wants to beat all eleven men by himself irregardless of whether it is the best thing to do or not. He seems oblivious to the other 10 Limerick players on the pitch.

He is obviously a talented player but a number of people have said he was left go from Cork for "not being a team-player."

He was a bit better against Harps than against Galway, and even passed a handful of times but he really needs to pull his weight as part of the team, otherwise I can see him losing his place.

    .
Thats not teh reason he was let go. we have a plethora of full time strikewrs and sonn good young fellas coming through, so CP was left in limbo.

I'd say hes just trying too hard to impress. He wants first team football and he wants to be back to the days when the echo regarded him as the west cork ronaldo.

Yeah well right now he's more like a Limerick Trevor Benjamin. Like I said already, O'Flynn on his crutches would probably offer more. There's no doubting his talent and that makes it all the more frustrating. He was subbed against Athlone and if he keeps this up I'd say it'll become a regular occurence.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

I think that if only we could cross-breed this guy and Colin P. O'Brien, we'd a top class player. All we'd have to do is shout PASS and he would. I think we should sign him anyway!!

maybe later in the summer I might make a few, but I usually work saturdays in cork, so ye'll have to do without me abusing the ref for most of the season
