    Damian Hancock returns from ban

Firstly the ban, like previous action against refs, wasn't released to the press. I think the FAI/League/Refs assoc missed a chance to show fans that they actually do sanction refs for poor performance

Secondly, they decide to get him to ref Pats in Inchicore on his first game back?! Surely it'd have been easier to give him another game for his first one back? I'm fairly sure he'll get a reception off Pats fans tonight and the league have some part to play in that.

    Any thoughts?

Was he the ref who missed the tackle that resulted a broken leg (well, saw it but bottled the decision) in the Bohs vs Pats game ?

Yes, he hasn't reffed a game since. He gave a yellow card for this tackle http://stpatsfc.com/images/photos/210510-2.jpg

The photo, as bad as it is, still doesn't do it justice.

Yep, and then proceeded to balls it up for the rest of the game as well. Strange his first game back is Pats but nothing done in the running of the LOI would surprise me any more Knowing Hancock I doubt the next ban (sorry "rest") is far away.

Richie Winter is down for reffing our game tonight, his first game with us since this game. So that should be interesting too.
