I think Galway should be deduted 6pts or more in the league, players put in a big effort and they were not told the truth from the start, sad day for the club and the league.
we've been in this state for well over a year now (earlier post even shows that) yet as I remember not much happened last season. It doesn't look like we're in a huge hole so we should be able to sort it out without too much more fuss.
If you've nothing good to say, say it.
Relax, nobody is going to be kicked to the streets, or, starve to death. This has happened due to the fact that we havent had a home game on a normal night for a while now. There are plenty of fundraisers etc.. coming in the near future which will help in some way.
Will be heading along tonight with a couple of mates. Hopefully the weather holds out reasonably dry.
#NeverStopNotGivingUp
Oddly I'm taking some inspiration from US College Football on this. One of the big problems with the estimates is that many clubs, not just Galway, seem to take a short-termist view towards estimating crowds. Looking at the last one or two seasons simply isn't enough to decide a pattern. If you're conservative estimate, never mind an optimistic one, is based on a period this short then you run the risk of ruin. Steady growth can only be achieved by looking at the long game. Recent success, both on the pitch and off it, should never be allowed to cause irrational exuberance. Instead look at that success as something to build around cautiously making incremental moves rather than throwing it all in the pot at once, as appears to have happened here.
