    Super Bray 3 - Derry 2

    http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2010/...ray_derry.html

Sounds like it was a cracking game!

    Another sending off though.....
Maybe that's the reason we held off for the win...the lads are so used to finishing the game with 10 men, they wouldn't know what to do with the extra man!

The sending off was just plain stupid from Massey, really ****ing stupid. He has just been booked and the ref blew for a free kick and he decided to do a silly flick and the ball went flying, 2nd yellow card.

The game itself was very entertaining, the 1st half was quite even and 1-1 was fair at half time, 2nd half Bray stepped it up a gear and went ahead, looked extremely comfortable then and had a few more chances. Then Massey decided to act the tit and got himself sent off, Derry scored from a free kick but Kane really should have saved it, he had to hands on it but wasn't strong enough. We replied right away through O'Neill again. Although Derry pressed us with the extra man they never had us under any real pressure and didn't make enough of having an extra player.

Heard that Derek Foran is coming back to us when the transfer window is open, great news ! bad news is that Shamrock Rovers are sniffing around Shane O'Neill. Well that's what i heard a club official saying.

Another great performance from the lads, showed real character to to dig out a win when reduced to 10 men, Daz ,Mulroy, Kelly, and O'neill were all superb. O'neills pace is a real problem for defences, and it looks like he has a real eye for goal. On the Shamrock Rovers thing, Michael O'neill was at the match last night.

Couldn't believe how stupid Massey was, for both cards. Back-to-back huge performances from the team, gives us some hope. I think Gormley and Devo deserve to be acknowledged too, who would have seen an improvement like this coming? Don't know if the break this weekend is a good or bad thing, keep the momentum going or recover from the few knocks and catch breath.
