UCD v Bray Wanderers(?) Thurs 12th, 7pm.
This match will be played on one of the pitches at the Road entrance, opposite the Sports Centre.
The most favoured one is known as Roebuck 3 (R3).
" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
UCD U20 2:1 Bray Wanderers U20
Bray U20 won a peno from a counter-attack just befor e half-time, scored. UCD had dominated up to then, I was told.
I arrived for the second-half, UCD put on a couple of forward subs, Daniel Corbett (sp?) and Brían O'Broclán. James Scallon and Samir Belhout with the college goals.
" I'll go right up to here,
it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
beer and my shirt."
This one more up-to-date than the official mail out at least!
Seriously though, the official ones are way off. Whatever about the two midweek games, they have us down as only having played 4 times, even though we played our 5th match of the season against Bray last Sunday. Poor.

There may be a difficulty with some of the games that have been played.
Take this example, from the shamrock rovers website
http://www.shamrockrovers.ie/teams/u...table-12-08-10
"Rovers lie in second place in Pool 3, one point behind leaders FC Carlow.
Under 20 League of Ireland
POOL 3 LEAGUE TABLE

FC Carlow 4 2 2 0 11 7 +4 8
Shamrock Rovers 4 2 1 1 7 2 +5 7
Waterford United 4 1 2 1 7 8 -1 5
U.C.D. 4 1 1 2 7 7 0 4
Wexford Youths 3 1 1 1 3 3 0 4
Bray Wanderers 3 0 1 2 1 9 -8 1
Table correct as at Tuesday, 10th August"
The above table doesn't include a shamrock rovers : Blues game, played at the end of July. Unless there is a difficulty with that game.

Yeah just looking through it again, that's the game they've missed out alright, apart from the two most recent this week that is. Rovers won it 2-1 at Tallaght.
Can't think of a reason why though, didn't hear of any difficulties with it anyway, and talking to our manager afterwards he had no issue with the result at that stage.

Fc Carlow look a decent side looking at their results, any players of note in their side?any making it into their A side?I watched their A side v Pats on Sat,good side that play nice football,a young fella that came on with about 10 to go caught my eye, looked about 17,good passer, anyone know who he is
Are Wexford playing Bray this mid-week? Finding it very hard to get info about when the games are on...
You'd think with our club finances being fairly tight it would be worth their while letting the fans know when the games are on :/

Are ye playing us down here at the RSC after that then, Y4E? On Sunday probably?
As I'm full of questions tonight, would you know if the Ben Ryan in both your squads of late is the same lad we had in the 20s last year? He was from Kilkenny I think. Tidy player.

i would say not playing ye on Sunday Stan as our league game v Shelbourne is Sunday due to Women's International in Ferrycarrig over weekend.
It could be as far as I know the Ben Ryan that joined us this year is from Kilkenny so more than likely is same player. He looks like a good footballer with the ability to pick out a good pass
And Miles To Go Before We Sleep
Result from tonight: Bray 0, Wexford 1. Ben Ryan free-kick.
