    Rovers U-18's

Sligo Rovers U-18's will play Mervue United in the inaugural Connacht Youth League Final this coming Sunday 28th June in the Showgrounds, kick-off 2pm
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Best of luck to the lads on Sunday!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

    Sligo Rovers 4 - 2 Mervue

A good game in parts, Rovers should be at least 4 up at half time but coulden't score.
Mervue came back 2nd half and leveled, this woke the Sligo strikers and they got 2 goals to make the game safe.

    Well done to Sligo Rovers.

Fully deserved their win, played some neat passing football at times while the overall tempo of the game was a bit tame.
Keeper was impressive but a real shame that the Club was so badly represented at the match - Secretary and Keith O'Dwyer the only one's there.
