Was talking to a Cork fan a few days back hes coming down and says Foras should have around 30 on there bus while the bus hes organising has around 16 on it so far so there should be a decent showing from the away fans.

Great second half performance from the lads they pushed hard and deserved the draw in the end. We were completely outplayed first half and were lucky not to be more than one down. Hynes made a difference when he came on and special mention too to Victor and Michael Lee who were both excellent in the second half too. Overall we're improving nicely and there's plenty to be optimistic about for the rest of the season.

but in all seriousness we were compltely out played 1st half and should have been 3 or 4 down but second half and the passing game of Cork seemed to leave them and we just kept plugging away and got the reward for it.

Performers of the night : Lee , Victor , Jason oladalea qho made a fantastic impact as did hynes. JP Mcdonagh was a welcome return and tried hard as did Mark Salmon as always...

5 in a row undeafeated now and one things for sure we defo won't lose against mervue

Good man Kieran. A Mervue team who we struggled to beat earlier, ran Derry close Fri night and are tough to beat at home.

    Mervue 3-1 Longford

I think we're well capable of getting a win down there but as you say it'll be fairly tough. I think we're an improving team though and the defence is looking more secure thankfully.

Yes they will be a tough nut to crack and they are likely to get physical to try and stop us playing but im sure Lester will be back next week and he will make the world of differnce so perhaps 2 maybe 3-1 Longford

I'm only predicting a 3-1 loss cos every time i predicted a win we lost and when i predict a loss we get a good draw or win!!

I am not sure what to make of don cowans debut for us.. his only asset is pace imo.. Great to see Jason Oladele back with us again and delighted that JP McDonagh sorted out his work situation .

Hynes did make a difference when he came on and beat McNulty to the ball and slotted it past him..Cork had it in the bag and didnt win!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

I though Cowan worked quite hard for us and hopefully he has more in his locker than just pace which I think he has. He was perhaps lucky not to have been sent off for two yellow card offences but the challenge he received a card for showed he has great determination and really wants to do well for us and I can see him scoring many goals.

As for Jayo I wasnt sure what to make of his re-signing as he wasnt great with us the last time and I know my mate that use to go to games couldnt stand him but Rovers A has done great things for him as his pace lasts longer now instead of short burst like he use to have. His control and skill was brilliant last night and he made a huge impact and looks like a huge asset for us.

JP Mcdonagh worked hard and its great to see him back in the red and black.

Hynes defo. made a big diffrence also and will give Cousins a dilemma on who to start up top next week?

Roche had a quiet game before been taken off so hes probably out of the running to start up top ......... who would ye pick?

Off topic, but where did Brian McCarthy end up after going back to Bohs last year, is he still at Bohs? Thought I read somewhere too that he went to Spain for a trial with someone..

He went for a trial with Athletico Madrid after they liked what they saw in the friendly against him but they released he was 28 or what ever age he is not 18 as they thought so they let him go back and hes now playing for Athlone (scumbag)

McCarthy is about 22, not 28 . But apparently they did feel he would be too old to make the step up.

There's quite a difference in fairness. Maybe not to a whippersnapper like you I suppose...

Interesting. I wonder if they're available for the cup game?.
