Bray 0-0 Rovers. Terrible result for Shamrock Rovers there.

if Sligo beat St. Pats then there will be 5 points between 1st and 7th.

Hmm I think that's four games unbeaten and one goal conceded for the Town now. Makes a pleasant change, decent result tonight in Derry.

The insanity of my post was definitely less sane than yours...

Longford's keeper made some very good saves and a couple of good goal line clearances from their defenders.

Longford could have stole all 3 points late on only for a great save from Doherty.Another blatant handball/penalty decision turned down again!

We got watching the goal from the Spain game on the giant screen just after Spain scored but apparently Stephen kenny wasn't happy and asked for them not to be shown during the game.

Smallest league attendance so far this season from us. (I'll know tomorrow)
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html

The funniest OG in the history of football scored in the RSC tonight! You'd have to see a video to appreciate it but to describe it. Mervue centre back went to volley a long aimless ball from our defence 25 yards from his own goal. It struck his centre back partner in the face and lobbed the keeper from 35 yards!

Hopefully, there is a blog site which has all our goals from the year on it. Hopefully he caught this on cam! I'll post up the link if he has it.

Candystripe, thanks for that. Aaron Shanahan is a top keeper who had a bit of a blip earlier in the season but has been a major part of our recent good form from what I've seen . It's good that a player was challenged and came out and proved themselves

Hopefully we do. It's great to see such a tight league.

They got all the big decisions last night, especially at the end when our young striker was clean threw on goal and Danny Murphy hauled him down when he was the last man in the box, how a peno was not given and a red card issued i will never no. Rovers were very poor in thye 1st 60 minutes, they looked kind of clueless and any time we applied pressure they messed up. they looked very rusty but their superior fitness told when we went down to ten men in the last ten minutes

Never a sending off either. shocking decision. thought we kept up with them alright and battled very well. Have to say, rovers were awful. Great squad but just aren't playing.

    Take that tho

Dont think its been mentioned but Dundalk had another man send off against us last night with a horrible kick by McGowan on Cretaro made no attempt to win the ball, wouldnt mind id say be was on the pitch for about 2 mins.On the match itself it was our best performance of the season and could and should of been more
