suppose it would be a big help if league informed teams in all divisions what was happening and when their first games are going to be played ??

    Coonagh B 0 3 PROSPECT B

good workout for both teams and evenly matched in the first half with prospect winning one nil at half time, their experience showed in the second half against a very young coonagh team scoring two without reply. Think prospect will be the side to beat this season if they can keep this team together and reckon this match in the league wil be a humdinger, best of luck to Prospect and coonagh this season

heard talk friday night that all the lower leagues starting 17th / 18th / 19th august midweek and 1a /preimer starting weekend 22nd but nothing confirmed .. how much effort would it take from league to contact clubs to confirm when leagues kick -off or just put it up on league website

Cheers grinder, coonagh have a good team themselves. The field is perfect for football out there and look forward to playing there again. It would of been closer if one of the offside calls went thier way.

Coonagh 1-3 Caherconlish b Very tight game could have went either way in 1st half but changed in the 2nd half with a red card for Coonagh which was hugely harsh red card for a simple trip terrible descision still we'll take it, Went 1 up shortly afterwards Coonagh got a penalty after that nd stuck it away handy enough but Lish pushed for a winner and the extra man told in the finished Coonaghs centre half scoring a cracking header into his own net, We added a third with a deflection in injury time looking forward to sunday now and Mungret at home

Ya agree with everything you said. We should have gone one up only for a poor finish not taking our chance. Red card changed the game. Was silly for the player to trip the man as he passed him but we thought red was harsh from where we were standing. Three more defenders back and the Caherconlish player was going towards touch. Our og should never have been if the Kepper had come to collect. The defender was under no pressure and was harsh on him to score an og after having a good game. Some of our players got lazy at 2-1 and allowed a ball be delivered across the box which the Caherconlish player finished.

Have to agree with that. Heard he was excellent against us in pre-season.
