Congrats to Straide and Foxford for putting a small bit of joy back into what has has been a disasterous season. Have really struggled since end of june and will look to regroup and push on from here next season. Very unlucky on Fahy who to their credit recovered from 1 down to lead 2-1 although I think Keane should have gone in the 1 st half. Still a brilliant cup final

Thought the Ref was poor today, McGrath had a huge amount of input from the side line too. Gutted for Fahy.

It was a great game to watch. could have went either way. I have to agree with both comments made above, keane should hav gone and the linesman nearly ref'd the game. s&f seemed to start the better but fahy soon got into it. the game had everything.

but hav to make a comment in the €10 fee in. it was a bit much. €5 would have been plenty.

Dont think McGrath will be involved in any champions league games in the near future, he tried to ref the game as linesman. Then he got upset with crowd reaction and lost control of himself and what he was doing.

Ten yoyo thats a disgrace. If this cup is sponsored then where is this money going. 5 is resonable but ten. Another example of the money hungry league

Yup, and couple that with the fact that as the home team Fahy were required to supply the balls..!! You couldn't make this s*ite up. The showpiece cup final in Mayo soccer which has a large corporate sponsor and they cannot stretch themselves to supply 3 match balls...!

Supplying the balls and gettin the supports to pay €10 in!!!!! so what do the 2 teams get in there? we're ye given food after or where exactly is the money spent, as was said above this is a sponsored cup.

Will alot of clubs be missing the dinner dance this year?? after all that has gone on..

there was no game for a few weeks in Mayo so they Mayo League didnt get there usual money through fines. they have to balance the books somewhere so they increased the entrance fee. makes sense really.
just out of curiosity; what do the sponsors actually contribute. do the winning team get any money??? there was no prize money for the runners up when we were in it

just a comment on what was said Dinner dance?
Clubs will turn up and gloat as per usual when collecting there silver ware they will forget how they were treated for one night. clubs who have nothing to get will stay away, for they would be board to tears with long winded speeches,
who can blame them, when its all about those who received the man of the year. etc, etc, etc,
If you want a dinner dance to be best remembered, it must be a football nite without the pomp.which represents all the clubs. let football be the winner not winners of cups
