What an absolute money spinner of a draw. This should fill the Showgies to the rafters and the fact that we are at home means that Shams will probably only get one penalty and we have a chance.
No more than Pats last night it would be great to put one over the Hoops. Yes should be a great money spinner and any chance of it being played in the afternoon of the Bank holiday Monday as it would allow a lot of us travelling a chance to get back to Dublin etc for the next days work. It will be a tough game for us but if the lads continue to play like they have been doing recently, then we are in with a big chance as Shams are not unbeatable by a long shot.
would be great if it were on at 3 oclock bank holiday but i think the stumbling block here is the 48 hour rule. so if we play sat eve (bank hol weekend) it has to be a full 48 hours before we play another game so looks like an evening k.o.
Lets get up the league first! Lets not get carried away, its only the league cup and great to get home draw. But with the money we spending on this Squad we need to be in Europe next season.
