No idea what its like or anything to do there, google isnt helping me. Any craic at all?
Has a very good nightlife (I spent one night there 8 years ago) and alot to see around it, historically speaking. A high number of Germans there when I was, and Scandanavians. I'd have to check it, but the Daisy Bar is quite wild and the most popular. It was at least when I was there. One thing to warn you about, be prepared for men there, mainly turks, to pinch your backside - I was warned but didn't buy it until it happened. Seems there's a very active gay scene.
One thing that was a definite plus was sea quality, very clean and the beach was too. You can day trip to Rhodes, again I'm not 100% on this, and I do know that Pamukkale is a few hours away by car and well worth the visit. But the hinterland of Marmaris is pretty barren with almost nothing there for the tourist. The cafe people can be a bit pushy but there's a good choice of food and drink, neither in resort is overly cheap. You'll enjoy it, especially the nightlife. My one night there was meant to be a rest stop, I ended up sitting behind the wheel of my car at 9am, after coming in at 6am, and just putting the seat back and sleeping.
