    UCD 3 Dundalk 1

What a performance. If you didn't know the teams' positions going into the match you'd have placed UCD as the table toppers on the strength of our play. After that performance I hearby rename Shorthall as Shortenbauer. What a sublime run and perfectly weighted layoff for Kilduff to take his goal. I hope we can maintain this form and keep pressing for a European place.

There's a belief in the camp that we can win the league. I don't hold to that, but it's going to be a sensational season. There's a real story brewing here.

Very good all round, pretty successful evening's work.

Hammered the league leaders, not the first time either. This is the best season since 1999/2000, and I'll appreciate this one more after having some setbacks in between.

Alright lads, it's been a while (I'm in Oxford most weekends (as now)). The belief in the team has carried through & the usual end of season loss of talent has only strengthened the resolve of these guys. What an outfit. No fear home or away & boundless talent. Could be a great year but I'd fear the end of season cull if we do finish towards the top (though it doesn't look as though SF will have the cash in future now either, thenk God). Why not dream of a league win. To be allowed to even think in that way is a great buzz.

    Anybody want to watch again?

Check out Shortenbauer's lovely dummy before spreading wide to Dave McMillan (who controls perfectly) on 25 mins. One of my favourite bits from the match. Apart from the goals, of course.
