Alan Cawley is not now signing for shels, they cant afford the compo to UCD.

We can and we need him. Sign him up, free agent, can sign straight away.

No he is a free agent. He's out of contract? A free agent doesnt mean we'll get him for free it means his free from contract, of course we'll have to pay the compo.

I'd give ye the �20,000 in a second if I were Dolan/Lennox.

Do you think he's worth 20k though? Seems like a lot of money in EL terms and you're not exactly short of attacking players as it stands! Not that I want to talk you out of it of course!

To be fair, I don't know what Shels are at. They presumably pay their full time players multiples of 20,000 a year. Alan is well worth that much in a transfer fee. If they lose him to Cork or any other club it will be a very bad move on their part.

Since PD doesn't read Internet Forums I hope some hack picks up on this and puts it in a respected form of media such as a tabloid. Maybe then PD will latch onto it and sign him up.
