Location and date for summer training camp?

Does anybody know the Location and date for summer training camp ?
Why do the FAI always leave these things to the last minute.

how do you know it's being left to the last minute? It just hasn't been announced to the public.
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

Maybe he's waiting to hear if he's being called up by Trap.

Stan Collymore is way too old to start training with us. Anyway, he's got 3 caps for England.

The FAI have now confirmed that the squad will train at their usual base in Malahide from May 16th to 21st, to prepare for those friendly games on May 25th (Paraguay) and 28th (Algeria).

I would like to see as many new faces as possible. Players like Coleman, Duffy, McCarthy, Meyler, Wilson, Cunningham are a must for this squad. Would like to see a few granny rule players too if possible.

The majority of the training camp will in my opinion be mostly the squad of players who played in the world cup qualifiers, minus some of the senior players.

I think Tapp has already stated that he will go into the Euro Champs with the squad from the World Cup campaign, as they all know his system, and follow his "Leeetle" Details.

if that was the case (and I don't believe it is) why were Cunningham and McCarthy brought into the squad for the Brazil game?

I think he means that it won't be an Irish B squad or development panel.
It's more likely to exclude maybe Kilbane, Dunne, Duff and Keane, but include everyone else who usually makes the squad with 4 players normally outside the squad replacing 4 of the more experienced players that may be excused. That could open the door for Cunningham, Duffy, McCarthy and Meyler.
Whereas the likes of Garvan, Cox, Treacy, Ward, Quinn etc. won't be included.
    Criticism is prejudice made plausible

''The manager will not be using the training camp to prepare for the friendly games per se.

Instead, he will use the five days to run the rule over some 20 players, mainly comprising fringe squad members and new faces, before the more familiar first team squad assembles in the immediate run-up to the Paraguay match on May 25. The game against Algeria follows three days later.''

I would prefer to see some experimenting, but the fact that you have put Liam Mackey's words in bold from the Cork examiner saying that FAI sources have told him the above doesn't really prove anything.
