In his programme notes last week Lennox noted that Malmo might still get a fair play place in the UEFA cup. Im afraid hes got his facts wrong. Sweden could still get a fair play award but it wont be Malmo who will get it, its another swedish team. City on the other hand......

Yea I saw that but on the Malmo site (I dont speak Swedish but....) they mentioned Intertoto Cup, Cork City, then the words Fair Play and then St. Patricks.

So if the worse comes to the worse Dodge and co can have our flights by changing the name. They'd get cheap flights, we'd get a fair bit of our money back, or else we could all go and support Malmo and use it as a dry run for our own Uefa trip.

So how many people have actually booked anything at this stage?

I'd be reasonably confident of getting ok price for flights once know for definite as theres a huge amount of options when will do 1 stop over on the way thru europe or even regional uk airports...

That would a total farce if it was played on a Thursday.

The only reason the Intertoto is worth entering is because the games are on at the weekend.

    Have to tell him tomorrow!

Well we'll have to talk to him and make sure he doesn't agree to anything so, too many of us have booked flights now at this stage for them to go changing it.
Don't see why we should have to oblige Malmo anyway, Inter-toto games are played on Saturdays. If that doesn't suit Malmo, tough.

Would be much easier to get flights mid-week assuming you not booked for weekend already.

The Herald probably told them that we're Neo-Nazi's aswell and that they'll need to be on a high state of alert!

what's the story with tickets for the game (away)? do we need to get them from the club or will they be available in sweden or is it too early to be worrying about such things?

I think we'll get them through the club. In trips past Noelle has met us before hand and sorted us out once the club gets them.
