For the second time in a week I came away from a game disappointed at not winning even though i'd have gladly taken a draw beforehand.
Waterford were very poor and apart from a period just before they scored we bossed most of the game.
It reminded me of old times, a raucous away support, singing heartily, sun shining, Moses in flying form, George and little Frodo feeling his wrath. I haven't laughed nor shouted as much in a long time.
Some very suspect decisions by the referee and his linesmen, Duggans disallowed goal was the main one, fantastic free from Deasy off the bar, his set piece delivery is the best i've seen
Was wondering why no tickets were given out at the turnstiles?
Having seen Derry and Waterford at close quarters in the last week, i'm thinking this league is more open than I thought. If we can bring in a few decent MSL players over the next few weeks then we might be in with an outside chance.

I'd have agreed with nearly all of the above were it not for my disappointment that it failed to rhyme.
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.
