    Question Personal Accident Insurance

Just interested in how many clubs organise insurance for their players over and above the league insurance. Just asking as we have had a player hurt last year who is still unable to walk properly. The league insurance is no good to him. If you have insurance can you give me the name of the companies you dealt with.

To be honest, I was going to post on our own forum looking for an alternative to ODON. I dont find them professional at all. However, they seem to have a monopoly, and options are limited. 8 weeks to get a form posted out recently?

I began looking at sportscover website, but havent made contact to know if they cover Ireland yet.

All I can suggest is to really push home to the employed players the importance of private health insurance.

TBH similar to ODON but apparently not as easy to deal with. A lot of clubs will use them to get quote down in price from ODON
