Waterford injury worries & Connor pumped up

    From their website:
It appears they have some issues.

Frost - definately out for 2 weeks with a hamstring injury ( he'll be missed - good player )
Waters - doubtful. Ppicked up a knock on Friday night vs. Dublin City.

    ...and, wait for it......

Reynolds - doubtful also. Was taken off on Friday night and may not play now.

Isn't that a coincidence. He missed Rovers last game against us at The Cross last season also. Could it be due to the "welcome back" he got during the first game vs. Rovers last season. Remember his sad figure trapsing off during the second half of that game.......to "loving applause" from his old friends throughout the ground.

No fear of our other favourite son missing this game though. Apparently he is "pumped up" about the game and promises "The Shed more of the same tomorrow night". Now I wonder what he means by that.......

Rumour has it he's bringing an extra BIG bottle of water for us......

The guy is stoking it up though - be prepared!

    Waterford match...

I never really worry about who is or who is not playing for the opposition as i think City should be capable of beating any team in the league at the X..still though Frost is a good player and i would prefer him not to be playing..Waterford have had a good start to the season and will be hard to beat..i thought they were very good last season(one of the best sides at the X) and it looks like they are again playing as well this season despite the fact that Fenn left..Bruton has started well for them and Reynolds is very good in the middle(whatever people think of him)..I think we will just nick it tomorrow night by the odd goal...It will be very interesting to see what crowd turn up..Gunners and Chelsea on the box but with there being no home game in almost two weeks and it being a local derby i would expect at least 5,000 there weather permitting..

Its always a good laugh when there is an oposition player the crowd are slagging(Reynolds last season)but its great when its a goalkeeper because he has nowhere to hide..he will be standing right in front of us and as i said earlier i do beleive if he starts gesturing to the crowd in the shed end he is going to be putting himself in trouble..

    Prediction City to win 1-0(Kearney)

    Come on City!!!!!!!

Isn't it pathetic the way Connor relies on us for self validation

Half our team are doubtful kinda thing .... good call XR .... You are probably bang on the money there.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
