So when do Clonmel play St Michaels and where will it be played
The winners play Fairview I take it,cant remember cos its been so long
does anyone know if fairview are sending their full side up to play tullamore today,if so they are a great price at 11/8 cas tullamore are very poor.
Remind me again of the FAI count of both clubs??
This Sunday, 23rd March. Clonmel Town v St. Michaels. FAI Junior Cup semi-final. Kick off in Cahir Park at 3pm.
Did Pike play an illegal player against Michaels? The teams in previous rounds that Pike knocked out must feel hard done by. Michaels getting a bye to semi practically.
was at the Youths Joe Delaney Final in Cahir yesterday and I thought the announcer that kick off was 2PM - is it 3 bells? Cahir Park looking in excellent condition for the big one next Sunday!
My money is on Saints to beat Town, its been a pretty disastrous season for saints but with the suspension of Moroney and Barry Ryan injured for the remainder of the season i think Town will struggle for goals especially against one of the best backlines in the competition, can only imagine the reaction if Saints go on and beat Fairview in the final![]()
Will Carrick get the same reaction if they beat Town in Munster Junior Cup Final! no offence, Saints aren't the only team getting the bye into Semi - to my knowledge Carrick have got bye into Munster Junior Cup, and if Munster Junior didnt pull the plug on Carrick/Pike game, Carrick had their paper work in order for an Objection too - If Saints win on Sunday, I dont doubt they will make it very hard for Town, with as you say, players injured/suspended, they will find Fairview very hard to beat, but look let's not look beyond on Sunday for the moment.
i fully expect town to progress, and all their players will play. shocked you can be so confident?? ye have been very poor this year at saints and town are in a munster final and have beaten ballymun while pike, to be fair, beat ye well. of course saints have to be confident in themselves but the whole country will be expectin a town win on sunday. best of luck to both sides
totally agree, sorry I dont mean to be confident but we have to have faith in this team, I couldnt agree with you more about how Saints are playing this season, but they knocked out some big guns along the way too, Mervue utd, and Carrick utd, but they have to have confidence in themselves and have a lot to prove after what's been going on for the past few weeks. They seem to keep raise their game for the FAI. I second best of luck to both sides, there is nothing between them to be honest, they met three times this season (to my knowledge, i said to be corrected) - Town beat them in Cooke park in League, Saints drew with Town in other game in league and Saints beat them (in penos) in Tipp Cup so it is very tight and as always, their games are very entertaining with both sets of supporters always very vocal when they meet. We have no business in travelling to Cahir on Sunday if we dont think Saints can win. If Saints perform well on the day, they will be hard to beat as will Town. Good luck to everyone on the day.
I wonder what it's like to win an FAI when you know you've already been beaten in the competition...
Pretty good I would imagine...Especially if its the fai.
when a team is removed from the competition at the semi final stage for one blunder or another it is not the same winning without that team in it.people will always comment for years to come and say if pike were in it that year they would have won it especially if micks win it.
