UCD defender Alan Mahon will be out of action for at least a month after he fractured an ankle recently.
The 25-year-old full-back, son of Bohemians manager Pete Mahon, has already missed the last two games as a consequence of his injury and a scan showed that he has a broken bone.
UCD are already reeling from the bad news that James Timmons broke his leg in UCD's 4-1 win over Bohemians in the under-21 League on Sunday. Timmons has made three appearances for UCD's first team in the last six games.
