Spurs have been top class nearly all season. In my own opinion they have been by a distance the best team to watch in the league. Choosing Huddlestone and Modric over their midfield stopper Palacios away from home in a game they only really needed a draw was a bold move. They have real quality all over the pitch and two for most positions. The consistency of Dawson has been a major plus for them and Bassong has done his bit too, with King and Woodgate injured more often than not. The hot streak of form from Bale and Pavlyuchenko at a crucial time was a major factor for them as well. I hope they don't lose any players in the summer and make it through the Champions League Qualifying Round.
Definitely a victory for football with Liverpool, City (since Mancini) and Villa (to a lesser extent) not nearly as attractive on the eye.

Spurs have resorted to long ball occasionally with Crouch, frustratingly it's happened against the teams who can lap it up, Stoke, Hull, Wolves ridiculous points dropped by a team capable of beating 3 of the top 5 in an extremely difficult run in.
I doubted bent 'Arry all season but now I salute him, I hope Jenas is suitably replaced, proper right back cover is recruited and most of all more fire power when Defoe's goals dried up Pav came good but for the last month it's been Bale and I don't want to go into a CL campaign hoping the left back comes good with goals!!
As an aside I'd now be surprised to see Keane return to Spurs, I expect Harry to try & get Gudjonsen permanently and add a Defoe alternative which is unlikely to be Keane.

They were awful in the home match with Wolves and I didn't see the away game. Against Stoke and Hull I didn't think they resorted to long ball at all and should have beaten both of them comfortably, especially Hull.
Don't think Keane has much business back there now really, he'd be better off going somewhere where he'll start more often than not for his last few years. Kaboul has done fairly well in the absense of Corluka to be fair but neither are top quality. Bale will probably be midfield in the major games for the time being I'd say, until his defending improves which is likely as he is still very young.
If you thought they were bad at home to Wolves, the away game was worse, completely out played, at least in the home game you could argue that Wolves scored early and parked the bus, no such excuse for the away one.

Yeah I remember seeing a few of the highlight and Redknapp accepting that they didn't deserve anything after. They really did have another ten points or so there for the taking big time but I suppose nearly every team could say that.
