I think we signed the players we could afford. We still have a lower wage bill than the top first division teams. Having said that, we have players who are committed & that worked for us last year. Feel a bit frustated myself Maynard. Its no good playing great & not getting anything out of the games. Sweat's going to be key again. Need to get some points & get a bit of a cushion. It is however basically a new team, so it'll take a few games to get them working as a team.Originally Posted by TommyT

I just hope we can grab a few points before the morale and the team spirit start to sag. Playing well is important, but knowing how to grind out a result is going to be more important this year.
I just hope we're not too short on ideas up front or it may cost us, particularly if O'Neill or Hughes pick up an injury.
Shame Killian Brenann is out for tomorrow night, but still hope we can pick up a point at least.
