427-0 to the super blues. Tierney grabbing all of them in a classic snatch and grab victory. Nice.

I think you might be right about the must win game. Yes, it is only the first 3rd of the season and there's a lot of games to go etc. etc. However we've lost to 4 of the teams we need to compete with in this first round of games, loosing to a 5th (and thereby the entire top half of the league) leaves us very far behind. 1st & 2nd are gone over the horizon already and 3rd is getting away. More important than the points gap to 3rd though is the damage to the teams morale. Should we lose, we could certainly close a 9 point gap to Monaghan over the rest of the season but only if we keep the heads up and perform to our full potential. A loss tonight and I don't see us performing the rest of the season. I'm hopeful though that we'll get a result tonight.....we're certainly due one against Shels at home.

I saw Robbie Kelleher came on a little earlier than usual Friday night....how did he do for the 30mins?

Great resilient victory, despite the ref being very one sided for considerable periods of time. Hopefully Tierney is OK, will be a massive blow to lose him.

3 points, and only 426 goals off in my score prediction. Not a bad Bank Holiday Monday

very pleased with last nights performance, very committed which has been lacking for a while.need to continue the good form away next weekend. Very impressed with Cahill at centre half, leavin aside the goal he's good in the air and with Paddy beside him this could be the best centre defence partnership we've had in a long while.

Agree thought Cahill was man of the match

I also thought Jeff Judge, number 8 played well and was comfortable on the ball. Will mature into a very nice player imo.Steven Hickey, number 9 who was taken off to a Scully high five with ten minutes to go was totally off the pace of the game and was only going through the motions....

I agree Hickey isn't the best player but he made it very awkward for the Shels defence at times and won a good few headers.

He was at Jackman for the Wexford game. I since heard a rumour that he's signing for us again, but dont know if its true or not. As things stand he's not signed with us this year.
