I installed it primarily as a way of allowing Facebook users to register quickly, tbh I have no idea what connecting as an existing member does, but I'd guess what you mentioned above. I don't want to do it as I already publish from Foot.ie automatically and I don't want to dupe on people. So I guess you're the guinea pig.

Yeah, I couldn't resist the temptation earlier and clicked it, then auth'd the FB popup, but nothing happened. Clicking it again did nothing. Refreshing the page and clicking again gave me a page on Foot.ie that asked me if I wanted to link the accounts and/or use my FB avatar, but I ran away then.
I registered on GOT.com via facebook and it was dead handy, dont publish from it though.
