Thoroughly deserved IMO

Himself and Guthrie work very well together. Guthrie the classic big man centre half and Kenna with a terrific football brain. Consistently makes the right choices. Already nicknamed Kennavaro by some in Inchicore

Haven't seen Kenna in action this season but he always a cut above his teamates when I saw him play for UCD. Always good to see a top quality defender get the recognition he deserves.

Well deserved, but it really just shows that there's been no outstanding striker as yet.

Yeah, he was superb for us. Remarkably good in the air for a short centre half - presumably the origin of the Kennavaro nickname mentioned above. He was on the U23 panel at the time, so he was getting some recognition even then.
