    last nights eircom league weekly

Lads can someone get on to TV3 and ask them to stop using camera phones to tape matches. The Bohs/Waterford, Dub City/Longford games looked as though someone was showing me a bit of action outside a club at 4 in the morning. Crap, total crap! This is gael353 by the way not johnd, i just took over his office.

I saw that alright - a new low for the show. There were better pictures on the news of the Iraqi invasion at 1:00am in the morning!

Yeah, those matches were poor alright, but I thought the whole package for Derry v Shels and Rovers v City were two of the best I've seen on the show. An real effort was made there.

I think Bohs and Dublin City use their own camera crews. Dreadful stuff though.

    Worth it for Dolan's outburst.

Laughed me balls off at that, aye.

What did everyone think about the Brandy, the cameras facing the now empty Lone Moor Road end. Thought it looked really bad. Apparantly they're getting moved around to face the New Stand sometime soon.

Why wasn't the Drogs-v-Pat's match shown? Thats what I tuned in to see.

Mainly down to the fact that there wasn't a camera at the game.

Well that and the anti-Pats bias in TV3

Thought Brandywell crowd much quieter than usual. Any reason why camera couldn't be moived to other side?

Pictures from Dalyer & Tolka fairly dodgy.

Home Farm v Longford Town looked like no more than a cpouple of hundred at the game. Come back UCD all is forgiven.

Might take you up on that! At least Belfield has less empty seats.

DC to stay up, UCD, Bray and Kildare to be promoted.

Aye, all the singers were too spread out, plus it takes a while getting used to the New Stand. We'll get ourselves sorted into a group for Saturday though.

AFAIK, the cameras are to be moved around to the other side. Just not sure when exactly.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

the picture quality was poor, but you're right about the package as a whole.

As for Dolan's outburst- he'd be better telling his players to get their arses in gear and picking his best team than spouting the same ol' drivel into the camre every couple of months. We've been hearing that he's going to give it "a damn good try" for nearly a year now, and we've got the message so maybe he should just concentrate on it.

So the cameramen get all the asbestos then? I know the picture quality can be bad, but that's a bit too far surely...?

A few questions about that are being raised, because the media is still allowed into Old Stand, and the wall around the Lone Moor End, which supposed unsafe, is still there and people can walk along it on the outside of the ground.
We're waiting until the Fans' Forum next week to ask about it.
