Ten times better than Jackman. Very nice clubhouse, 8 small astra turf pitches, another decent sized astra turf one and 3 pitches. The one Limerick played on last night was very small though which made it very tight. From the looks of things up there they are a club that deserve to porgress.Originally Posted by sean r

On the playing front we where very lucky to come away with the win in the end. It looked to be one of those nights that no matter what Limerick did we weren't going to score. Tierney stood out again for me. He put in some serious work around the pitch.
Wouldn't exactly call it lucky that we won we had a load of chances and missed 2 pens.
We had more of the ball and created more chances.
They made it tight and kicked most things that moved.
Well me and the lads next to me were gone over to Clarkie who was celebrating straight away not that it matters it was given it was over the line and we got 3 points.
Nice pitches and nice clubhouse. But would prefer to go to a game in Jackman any day. No stand no shop and standing on a hill next to a bog was not the best match experience.how are the facilities there at drom? better or worse than jackman?

Lucky so far as it didn't look like that goal was going to come. Another night against the likes of Athlone or a team like that we might not have got the goal. Have to say i am not looking forward to the game against Athlone. They have conceeded only two goals and scored 3. They must be the most boring games in the league.
On chances and balance of play there is no doubt we deserved to win. However having missed them and scoring so late it felt like we got out of jail. SD will
feel they deserved a point for sheer guts and determination particularly when down to 10 men.
I thought John Tierney was clearly our best player as well. He always looked a threat.
