No Clare team makes it into Paddy Power's shortlist, over 1000/1 for the Clare clubs anyway

Some stupid odds up on the site, I'll wait awhile to make any bet....

Fairview at 8/1 is quite ridiculous. Same with Pike at 20's, and Regional at 25's...

Not a lot of research done. Ballypheane @ 80/1 for a club that folded in the middle of the season last year that's pretty short odds...

8/1 for any club at this stage of the season is a bit short isn't it?

I think last years 1st round draw was early september, and the open round draw (5th round) was in November (late November).

I thought we were very unlucky not to get to the final last year..I really fancy Clonmel Town to go one better this year in the f.a.I. I dint think there will be many other teams besides us and saints from tsdl challenging tho!
6 Leagues in a row...can we have another F.A.I. now please?

St Peters are a lot poorer than last season from what I have heard. Willow played an Athlone selection in a friendly a couple of weeks ago and lost by 5 but would definitely be better value at 80s than Peters at just 22s

Jeez, you really are putting your neck on the line there by predicting that there won't be many from TSDL apart from Town and St Michaels challenging....In fairness apart from those two and the odd foray from Peake Villa, how many South Tipp teams challenge?

Oh right i thought peters had lost no players and gained a few to there squad but i have only seen 1 peters game against a good st micheals side. and i was at the willow vs athlone game.willow added a couple of players maybe need 1 or 2 players more up front.but will do them as an outside bet.

Lisselton Rovers at 25/1 is worth a few bob at, last 16 in 2008, 1/4 final in 2009, they were a young side put together but over the past two seasons they have been making massive strides and winning the double over Tralee Dynamos the same team who are top of the A Championship right now.
I think the expierience they have got over the last two years will stand them in good stead this season and they are definately one to watch.

Im not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me there Max. You say that i am putting my neck on the line with the statement yet you end up kind of confirming my statement in the end anyway,,with the addition on a Peake Villa challenge? Anyway,no team in the TSDL outside these three mentioned will have any impact on the junior cup,,thats for sure.

Lisselton joining the Munster Senior League?

It might be the same team that Lisselton did the double over but Dynamos main focus was by far on the A Championship at the time!

From Kerry soccer perspective I would like to see Lisselton do well in FAI but for me the downside for Lisselton this year is not playing any difficult games domestically in Kerry.

Are Lisselton not joining the Munster Senior League?
