    This Weekend's Games

Much chance of any games being called off tomorrow? Has the weather in Dublin area improved?

Can use this thread for latest scores tomorrow night too I suppose.

    Friday:
    Drogheda Vs. Sligo Rovers
    St. Pat's Vs. Fingal
    Galway Vs. Dundalk
    Shams Vs. UCD
    Mons Vs. Athlone
    Shels Vs. Harps
    Limerick Vs. Foras

    Saturday:
    Bohs Vs. Linfield
    Mervue Vs. Waterford
    Longford Vs. Derry

    Sunday:
    Wexford Vs. Salthill
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Weather has been fine today. All systems are go.

I might attend Bohs-Linfield on Saturday, can anyone tell me, am I likely to be kept back for ages as happened outside Richmond Park last month?

Heading down to that game myself, Id say it depends what stand the Linfield fans are in, we couldnt walk down Emmet Road because the Linfield fans were coming out that way
    Here on a technicality.

Looking forward to playing the students in Tallaght, just hope the wind isn't too strong, completly ruins the game blowing down off the Dublin mountains. The only bad thing i would say about the stadium is its far to exposed to the elements and the pitch can't take much of a spill of rain as we found out a couple of days ago when our game with shels was called off.

They are in a reduced capacity connaught st. I would imagine itll be Linfield fans kept back, so ye should be out and away, despite how much sense away fans being kept back rather that home fans makes sometimes (especially in wicklow where every away fan could be out and away on the luas before the home fans got out, drastically reducing the risk of trouble) if not sure ye are all more than welcome to come for a pint with us while we wait!

Game of the weekend has to be on Friday in Galway - Foster going home, Connor facing his former side. I'm off to check Paddy Powers to see about odds on red card totals! Has to be at least 2!!!

No odds on that, unfortunately. Offering a red card market on a Sean Connor team would be professional suicide for a bookie!

The weather at present on the VERY east coast is bright, but as I look north and out on the sea, there are darker clouds looming and the wind is picking up. Apart from that, it's crisp out.

Things are fine here. Tis cold and a bit damp but should be a playable pitch so who cares!

Raining pretty solid here in Dublin now. Another few hours of this and most games will be off.

What kind of state is Terryland in. Can't see our game been on if Galway and Dundalk play tonight.

Started to pour again here just after I predicted it was starting to dry up. Oh dear. Should still be ok though as pitch doesnt seem to be holding any water.

It will be touch and go Frosty. Our game will be going ahead, but its already in a bad state. It was teaming rain this morning down here, but its dried up since.

Has anything been done during the week on the pitch? i.e. steam roller or sand or any sort of maintenance? What's the over night weather in Galway?

If it was steam rolled, I would very much doubt there would be a game on there for a few weeks after.
