    England Internationals who have played in the League of Ireland

    Had a chat recently with a friend and we reckon there are at least 20 players who have been capped by England and have played in the League of Ireland. None were capped while with their LoI club afaik.

    Anybody want to start naming them?

    Carlton Palmer at Dublin City
    Did Bobby Charlton play one or two games here as well?

    Yeah, charlton was at least a season or so with Waterford

    Don't think so. We did have Peter Barnes play for us in the early nineties though
