t's stupid that 600 of the 3,000 tickets are set aside for club/Uefa officials. As if that many will be needed.

It is a UEFA requirement. I doubt if UEFA really care if it makes sense or not - it is the clubs who potentially suffer by not being able to sell them.

We do the same thing every match with the Glenmalure Suite. We havent announced anthing about the europa league matches yet though, sure the draw hasnt even taken place! Still good to see you are taking a very professional and organised approach in Dundalk.

I presume that you mean this is not your thing. Or do you think that this type of facility should not be on offer, or has no place in LoI?

Dundalk making a business opportunity from a high profile game. Hard to imagine how anyone couldn't applaud them for it.

The club have already sold close on 2,000* tickets for this match, the reason we went for such an early sale w/o knowing who we are playing is purely based on costs/risk. We had to be sure the demand was there for a game to take place in oriel, taking into account the huge upgrading required. Also by selling these type of corporate tickets, it will take in extra revenue. All of this is good business sense, as the risk of a possible away defeat in the first leg having an adverse effect on ticket sales is now removed.

Europa lge ties to be played on 1/7 + 8/7.................QR 2 a week later I think. Matches on a Thursday for this competition.

    * I dont think the total seating capacity will be more more than 3,000 when all upgrades are finished. Also a lot of these have to be reserved for UEFA, Sponors, Away, but some may come back on general sale.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).
