    Stephen Brennan returns

Stephen Brennan has re-signed for 2010 season. An experienced addition to the squad.

good signing i thought brennan was very good at the start of last season. will give us a bit more experience, will he be selected over james kavanagh or will james begiven more time to settle in? either way it adds to the squad which isnt a bad thing.

What's great about Stephen's addition to the squad is that he is very versatile and can play in a number of position (right back, centre back, centre midfield or just infront of the 2 centre backs).

It will be interesting alright to see were Eddie plays him. If i was making the calls i might leave young Kavanagh on the bench and play Brennan as a defensive central midfielder.

Yeah. I'd go with that. Thought Kavanagh was well out of his depth against Fingal and fairly annonymous against Dundalk. Still he is very young. But at this stage we need points. Kavanagh can get his oppurtunity in Leinster cup and EA games before he starts in the league.

totally agree the ea games should be the place to give the younger players experience. when we have good experienced players we should use them would love to see brennan start tonight could make the difference with him and massey back.

I'm sure some of the young players will be rested on Monday two games in three days is a bit much for them.
