We are bringing out a new Home Jersey this season. Jako our Kit sponsor wanted to bring out a new jersey this season as our present jersey has been with us for the last 3 years. It is part of the sponsorship deal with Jako that we bring it out. Jako are hoping to have it in place for our home League Cup game. I will chase Nicky today and come back with an exact date plus a visual if possible.
why is this being done when the season is already underway? would it not have made more sense to do it in the 3 months of the off season?
I agree with Silverfox but can't wait to see the new kit. Do us proud guys.
I actually thought that having the same kit for 3 seasons in a row was a nice touch of sanity in the mad consumer driven world of greed in which we all live. I was wrong obviously.
Keep on keepin' on.
from the rumours i have heard and from the descriptions i heard in the last few weeks this seems to be the jersey that was planned, whether it is the kit remains to be seen.

More like a "Bit O White" than "Bit O Red"
"Overwhelmed"
I'd have to say I'd prefer the stripes too. Over the last 5 or 6 years we've had two great jerseys. I loved the all red shirt, the one previous to the current shirt. The shirt posted above looks a little uninteresting, a bit, for want of a better word "common". It's like Middlesboro's and that can't be good.
Whats that comin' over the hill
It's the Monster,
The Cookie Monster!
Ohh for the love of God, please no! Where are the stripes gone, and why?!!
As Showgies said, we're supposed to be the bit o'red. We're certainly not mean to be the bit-o-red-all-over-with-a-dash-of-white!
Please tell me this is just some ridiculously early attempt at an April Fools?

Dont like it, red and white stripes please
Have to say it doesn't look great, hard to beat the stripes.
Don't like this at all . we need stripes , they hide the beer belly better.
Who cares.... as long as the 'lads' show respect for the jersey
